The adventure started in 1986 when Lars opened Creol on the famous jewelery corner in Larsbjørnsstræde close to the street in Inner Copenhagen. Creol took over after Vewo, which for 10 years was the first to introduce the Danes to snake silver and statues from India and Nepal. My stepfather Thomas became part of Creol together with the partner couple Per and Lars, who at the time ran Creol stores in Hillerød, Helsingør and Malmö.

I started in Creol in 1994, where I was in charge of our large wholesale department, later I came down to the business and put together a great team.

In 2011, my husband and I took over the old jewelery corner in Sankt Peders Stræde which we operated until in 2019 we got the chance to once again take over Creol's lease, this time in Kompagnistræde 21, where we then live today.

Is to get around the world and buy the amazing jewelry while supporting many of the poor jewelers. for example, the Charvez family from the Kewa tribe in New Mexico, USA living in the desert of New Mexico in a trailer. Father and mother Ronald and Petra live there with their 3 adult sons. the space is cramped but their zest for life and hospitality is huge.
